Naish Art is back on the road (and narrow ones at that) to the village of Kimpton for this weekends "Art Show" as part of the bank holiday festival in the village. I'm showing four paintings here. "Anthroposene", "Brexit and all that" "Cacophony: Building Blocks" and "The Church at Kimpton". The last item specially created for this exhibition - although it was just too late for entry one year and then covid happened - so it is neither brand new nor premiering here.
Just dropped off three pieces of work at "The Workhouse" gallery in Dunstable for their new exhibition "Create '21". This runs 13th October - 13th November -see poster for opening times. The theme of the show is experimental or accidental work! This gave me the opportunity to look through my back catalogue. I came up with "Berlin Squash", "Splodge 1" and "Apple Tree Form". Hope that you can get down there and enjoy the show.
Unfortunately due to both Dunstable and Bedford falling under the new Covid "Tier 4" restrictions, my current exhibiting had come to a sudden halt. Let's hope for better news in 2021!
Andrew is pleased to be showing at two venues leading up to Christmas this year. He will be showing "Winter in Belper", "End of the Shortest Day (21/08/17)" and "Cardington Tulips" at the Workhouse in Dunstable. At the Eagle Gallery in Bedford he will be premiering "Malham Snow" and "Splodge 1".
Pleased to announce that I have two paintings on show at "The Workhouse", Dunstable in their "Landscapes and Layers" show. I have also created cards of the two paintings also available at the gallery. The show is on between 8th July and 22nd August. The gallery has limited opening times - check out their website to avoid disappointment.
Well with Lockdown here and an uncertain future although public exhibitions of art are not happening at the moment, I'm still painting. Here is the latest piece to be finished hope you like it. It is a scene of Central London form a few years ago. Also been creating a web site for the Eagle Gallery so that the postponed "Schism" can live on "Virtually".
Andrew is pleased to announce that he is again exhibiting at "The Workhouse" in Dunstable. He is part of their new "All Creatures Great and Small" exhibition. See the poster below.... He has four pieces on show including his largest ever piece: "The Butterfly" measuring over one meter square. He will be on duty in the gallery on Saturday 22nd February in the afternoon.
Andrew is pleased to announce he has now got work on display at "The Workhouse" in Dunstable. All of his three pieces were accepted for their "Summer Open". He even made it onto the poster!
Andrew is pleased to announce his third one man show which will take place at "The Eagle Gallery" Bedford Saturday 11th May 2019 to Saturday 18th May 2019. It is tentatively titled "The Butterfly and St. Pauls". He looks forward to seeing you there.
