It's that busy time of year again, when various exhibitions co-inside.
First up is The Kimpton Art Show which in its 37th year. This takes place as part of the May festival in the beautiful church in Kimpton Village. I have three pieces on display this year "End of the Shortest Day (21/06/17)", "Live from the Welsh Borders" and "Mum's Penguins". The show began on Friday 4th May and concludes on Monday 7th May. Concurrently, the Hertford Open also begins this weekend opening today Sunday 6th May running through to Saturday 19th May. I was lucky enough to get all six pieces accepted for this exhibition, which are:- "A Walk in Glasgow", "Through a Window", "The Tree in the Distance", "Winter in Belper", "Telford Way, Luton" and debuting at this show "Cacophony- Once Removed". With two new pieces still on show at the Eagle Gallery until Friday, that means a total of eleven pieces are on public show this Weekend. |
