It's that busy time of year again, when various exhibitions co-inside.
First up is The Kimpton Art Show which in its 37th year. This takes place as part of the May festival in the beautiful church in Kimpton Village. I have three pieces on display this year "End of the Shortest Day (21/06/17)", "Live from the Welsh Borders" and "Mum's Penguins". The show began on Friday 4th May and concludes on Monday 7th May.
Concurrently, the Hertford Open also begins this weekend opening today Sunday 6th May running through to Saturday 19th May. I was lucky enough to get all six pieces accepted for this exhibition, which are:- "A Walk in Glasgow", "Through a Window", "The Tree in the Distance", "Winter in Belper", "Telford Way, Luton" and debuting at this show "Cacophony- Once Removed".
With two new pieces still on show at the Eagle Gallery until Friday, that means a total of eleven pieces are on public show this Weekend.
After what seems an absolute age (3 years if you are counting) "Cacophony - Once removed" has been completed. Its a 75% copy of my original piece "Cacophony". Lets play spot the difference....
At last life seems to have settled down a bit and I have some new work to show. Two pieces have just gone on display at the Eagle Gallery in Bedford and will be up for the next four weeks.
Well its been a while, but i've finally managed to add a couple of paintings, including the first of 2017 " Through a Window" as shown above. Having been moving house (and studio) over the last few months, order is finally descending, so hopefully paintings will appear more rapidly soon!
After a mammoth effort, we are pleased to announce the conclusion of the Tads theatre production of Romeo and Juliet. Although a long show, its fair to say that the reviews were "rave". we are pleased to say that the set decoration by Naish Art also went down well.
See the new page showing the work by clicking on the photo below....
We are pleased to announce that three of the four pieces entered in the Hertford Open this year were successful in being accepted for exhibition. They are currently on show at the Cowbridge Halls in Hertford. The successful paintings were, "Broken Road", "Roadside Silhouette" and "Apple Tree Form". This is only the second time that "Apple Tree Form" has been on public display since its premier at the Eagle Gallery in 2014.
Opening tomorrow in Bedford, the new Eagle Gallery Member's exhibition features two of my paintings. They are both in the window (see above on the left hand side). The gallery is open Monday to Friday 10am to 5.30pm.
