Again, with my one-man show looming, I sifted through photographs of plants and gardens to see if anything appropriate as “The Garden” was to hand.
I liked the ambiguity of this image, being unclear as to an appropriate orientation; yet compositionally, it had a heart, which everything seemed to explode from. I also felt it looked like some classical still life paintings I’ve seen, where the bright colours shining out from a dark background.
