Interactive Acrylic on Canvas
2010

Rejected from Luton Art 2010
Exhibited at the Eagle Gallery "The Garden and Beyond" Andrew Naish one man show 12th - 19th October 2013
Exhibited in "Bargain Corner" part of "Urban & Rural" at the Eagle Gallery September 19th - 26th 2015
This piece was from a weekend art course in Yorkshire. It was lovely weather and we painted outdoors but from a reference photograph. The whole day was used but with breaks for lunch and drinks. This is my first time using the Atelier interactive acrylics. These paints behave like acrylics, but can be kept wet by spraying the picture with water and also re-worked to a degree. I must say I enjoyed the fact the colours have the vibrancy of oils and yet the quick drying and lack of smell of acrylic paints. I enjoyed the discipline of the day and am fairly pleased with the result. It’s a bit of a clichéd view and I keep thinking I need some more interest like some figures in the far distance emerging from the light green area. This is the beginning of my relationship with and ownership of this medium.
